    Chief of Staff

    The Role

    The Chief of Staff role will report into the CEO and will work closely with the entire Executive Team, Board and Investors, as well as with the internal Divisions. They will be expected to work across a wide range of projects & and initiatives, both internal and external, to help best leverage the CEO’s time, while acting as a trusted advisor and sparring partner, helping to structure & and challenge the executive team’s thinking and coherently articulate the businesses’ strategy, reporting and analyses.

    Responsibilities

    • Be the right hand of the CEO.
    • Handle special, high-impact projects and initiatives as the need arises and ultimately ensure the timely completion of such.
    • Gate-keep and monitor the flow of multi-platform communications to and from the CEO’s office (serve as first line for reviewing content and material before it reaches the CEO’s office. Moreover, you will also manage the first line feedback with other leaders on items before they reach the CEO).
    • Help manage CEO’s interactions with executives, particularly by keeping them accountable to tasks and helping assess their progress with agreed goals. You will also keep them organized with logistics, meetings, and emails throughout the day, while assisting them to determine and prioritize business.
    • Serve as a strategic sparring partner to the CEO to discuss and debate strategic options.
    • Help create documentation for fundraising, board meetings, key stakeholder/partner meetings, etc.
    • Act as the CEO’s proxy in some decision making.

    Requirements

    • Consulting experience with a focus on strategic/operations management.
    • Strong business and analytical skills as well as financial acumen; experience with budget management and resource allocation.
    • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions. Agility and Entrepreneurial ability.
    • Excellent Stakeholder management skills and executive presence.
    • Previous experience in a Chief of Staff (ideally) or a Project management role.
    • Proven leadership skills in order to work well with others.
    • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on inter-departmental communication.
    • Ability to read people, understanding their emotions and intentions in the day-today operations of an office.
    • Exposure to Emerging Markets (nice to have).
    • Exposure to Healthcare / HealthTech / Insurance (nice to have).

    Software Engineer (Frontend)

    Position Overview:

    As a Software Engineer at Reliance Health, you will play a pivotal role in developing, maintaining and optimizing the software used by our customers, our staff and our healthcare partners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to identify opportunities for automation and to streamline our user experiences and processes. Through your expertise in software engineering, you will contribute to the evolution of the Reliance Health platform, creating delightful and efficient interactions that empower our customers whilst maintaining rigorous standards of quality and security. You will be responsible for building, and maintaining user interfaces that are not only visually stunning but also highly functional and responsive. You will work closely with product designers and backend developers to create seamless and delightful user experiences.

    Responsibilities:

    • React Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React.js, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user interface.
    • Knowledge of, and experience in creation of WordPress themes is an advantage)
    • State Management: Implement state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Mobx) to manage complex application states efficiently.
    • Component Development: Create reusable UI components that can be easily integrated into different parts of the application.
    • RESTful API Integration: Collaborate with backend developers to consume RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow between the frontend and backend systems.
    • Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize frontend code for speed and efficiency.
    • User Experience (UX): Work closely with product designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into pixel-perfect, user-friendly interfaces.
    • Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure that web applications are compatible with various browsers and devices.
    • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
    • Testing: Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability of frontend components and key user journeys.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
    • Agile Development: Contribute to an agile development environment, participate in sprint planning, and help drive the development process.
    • Learning and Growth: Stay updated on the latest frontend development trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve your skills and contribute to the team's technical excellence.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React.
    • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
    • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Mobx.
    • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
    • Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
    • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Agile development experience is a plus.
