    Chef

    Job Title: Chef.

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos.
    The main job role for this position will be to set-up and establish culinary department of the company, overseeing the following;

    • Developing a timetable of Culinary events using seasonal and local produce to highlight the innovative and ever-changing gastronomic array on offer to our guests; planning and developing fresh, exciting and innovative new menus for our Private Dining experiences
    • Expertly managing the Private Dining Kitchen, you’ll ensure the operation runs without a hitch, striving for the utmost creativity, efficiency and profitability
    • You’ll build strong working relationships across the Estate, developing understanding and awareness of all of our internal and external guests’ needs
    • Developing an ongoing process within the Culinary teams which proactively plans and prepares for all menu changes, presenting these through food tastings, always supporting our teams to ensure they have fantastic product knowledge
    • Supplying Private Dining Managers and the Events and Resort Sales teams with creative and bespoke menus and propositions which will effectively maximise revenue and profitability
    • Building a high performing team culture in Private Dining; you’ll role model behaviours and lead from the front
    • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way

    Requirements:

    • Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
    • A degree in any related field.
    • Must be very good in preparing top class inte
    • 3 to 5 years proven experience as a chef
    • Good Leadership and management skills                                                                              
    • Must have previous experience working as part of a fast-moving, quality driven, Culinary team, at Head Chef level, ideally within Michelin and 5* hotels
    • A fantastic cook, with an outstanding track record; you never rest on your laurels and you continually strive to keep on learning and honing your skill
    • Adept at managing competing, and sometimes conflicting, priorities, you like it when your work stands out from the crowd and you make sure you’re always one step ahead of industry trends
    • Must be up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once
    • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
    • Must have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner

    Retail Sales Manager (Luxury Fashion Brand)

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
    • Design and implement strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
    • Manage recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
    • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
    • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / M.Sc qualification in Sales / Marketing, Business Administration or a related field with a minimum of 3 years work experience.
    • Successful previous experience as retail sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets in the fashion industry
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
    • Someone with a good analytical know-how, as well as good commercial understanding and business acumen

    Head of Nursery School

    Location: Lekki, Lagos.

    Salary: N150,000 to N250,000

    The role of the Head of Nursery is to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery school, to effectively manage the day-to day running of the nursery and to deliver the highest standards of care and education.

    The ideal candidate will hold a full and relevant qualification in Early Years at Level 3 or above, must understand and ensure the requirements of the EYFS are met and must have experience working in a busy nursery setting in a management position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
    • Manage the day-to-day operations in order to ensure the health and safety of the children, their parents and carers, the team and any visitors to the nursery
    • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
    • Promote and facilitate partnerships with parents/carers and other family members.
    • Support the development of good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion.
    • Support pre-school staff in delivering the Foundation Stage; ensure that provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the local EYDCP in relation to nursery education grant funding for three and four-year-olds.
    • Establish, develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority Departments, regulatory bodies and other agencies.
    • Create and maintain a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery.
    • Be responsible for ensuring the nursery remains compliant in respect of suitably trained staff with relevant first aid qualifications.
    • Be responsible for ensuring that all staff receive Health and Safety training.
    • Manage staff costs with regard to budget projections.
    • Maintain accurate records and accounts for the nursery system and produce management information as required.
    • Understand and utilize management systems and information to maximize efficiency

    Requirements:

    • BSc or MSc Degree educated/Early Years Foundation Degree
    • Leadership Skills – demonstrable ability to lead a team to achieve objectives to the highest standard
    • 4 to 7 years experience in similar role
    •  Excellent interpersonal skills, articulate with the ability to interact at the highest level with staff, pupils, current and prospective parents as well as other stakeholders  
    • Experienced at planning and reporting, preparing reports for senior team regarding target attainment and outstanding opportunities
    • Organised and Efficient – a methodical and impeccable approach to office procedures, database management and record keeping
    • Excellent ICT skills, used to working with Microsoft packages and knowledge of CRM systems
    • Excellent working knowledge of EYFS and OFSTED Standards
    •  Proactivity – ability to use initiative, suggest improvements to processes, prioritise and be proactive in managing workload
    • Excellent customer service skills and used to dealing with difficult situations
