    ICT Teacher

    Role Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled ICT Teacher to inspire and educate students in Information and Communication Technology. The ideal candidate will develop students’ digital literacy, computational thinking, and practical ICT skills, while promoting responsible use of technology in line with the school’s mission and values.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver ICT lessons for various grade levels.
    • Teach computer fundamentals, programming, software applications, digital literacy, and emerging technologies.
    • Design and supervise practical activities in computer labs.
    • Integrate ICT into other subject areas to enhance learning outcomes.
    • Assess, record, and report student progress, providing feedback and guidance.
    • Maintain ICT equipment, software, and laboratory resources.
    • Promote online safety, ethical use of technology, and cybersecurity awareness.
    • Organize ICT-related events, workshops, or competitions for students.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to improve the ICT curriculum and teaching methods.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Teaching qualification (PGDE, NCE, or equivalent) is preferred.
    • Minimum 2–5 years teaching experience in ICT or related subjects.
    • Strong knowledge of computer systems, software applications, programming languages, and educational technology.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent classroom management and teaching skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to motivate and engage students.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and relevant ICT tools.
    • Innovative, creative, and able to adapt to new technologies.
    • Commitment to student development and continuous professional growth.

    NYSC Corper

    The NYSC Corps Member supports the daily operations of the organisation by providing administrative, technical, academic, or operational assistance as assigned. The role is designed to promote skill development, professional growth, teamwork, and national service while contributing meaningfully to organisational goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support day-to-day administrative and operational activities.
    • Assist in record keeping, documentation, and data management.
    • Carry out assigned duties in line with organisational policies and procedures.
    • Support project implementation, reporting, and basic research tasks.
    • Provide clerical, academic, or technical assistance depending on posting.
    • Participate in meetings, trainings, and organisational activities.
    • Maintain professionalism, discipline, and ethical conduct at all times.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

    Required Qualifications

    • Must be a registered NYSC Corps Member.
    • Bachelor’s degree or HND from a recognised institution.
    • Valid NYSC posting and clearance documents.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, email).
    • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
