    Joinery Production and Installation Manager(Expatriate)

    IO Furniture Limited is a leading interior design and furniture manufacturing company of over 35years. We are currently seeking to employ the services of an experienced Joinery Production/ Installation Manager to join the team.

    Core Working Relationships

    Job Summary:

    • Manage the furniture production and installation line, ensuring that all orders are executed according to Clients’ requirement.
    •  Prepare detailed installation program of works for all projects and ensure timelines are strictly adhered to.
    • Carry out site inspection to determine site readiness and ensure correct dimensions are taken and recorded
    • Attend site meetings and act as point of contact for all clients Installation projects pre and during execution.
    • Lead and motivate teams, optimize processes to achieve the defined production, cost, and quality objectives
    • Work with the Commercial team on all projects to meet Clients’ requirements
    • Schedule pre-installation meetings and post-installation walkthrough with the installers, and project managers
    • Plan and supervise product delivery and installation, including performance of work,
    • Conduct quality inspection of work done on site by the installation team, identify and resolve snags within the specified timelines as per policy.
    • Maintain detailed project documentation of key project decisions as per clients /project requests and revisions.
    • Provide weekly Installation status update during operation meetings.
    • Troubleshoot design, production and installation issues as they arise and ensure that all furniture produced meet the company’s quality standards.
    • Ensure preventive maintenance and quality control in production and installation

     Candidate’s Profile:

    • An Expatriate (Eastern European, Indonesian, Indian, Phillipino)
    • Degree in Industrial Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in similar roles, in the furniture industry
    • Experience in team leadership and management
    • Proficiency in basic computer applications; Autocad and other technical softwares
    • Strong work ethics and versatility Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to meeting deadlines;
    • Excellent customer relationship and project management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze, plan, schedule and implement project installation

    INTERNAL CONTROL OFFICER

    Reporting Line: MD/CEO, Board of Directors

    Key Summary of the Job

    • The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for Implementing, monitoring and measuring the adequacy of control systems in the company, in compliance with regulations and internal control framework, increasing operational efficiency by detecting and eliminating fraud and business risks.
    • He/She will also be responsible for evaluating and improving our internal control systems and work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and identify opportunities for process optimization.

    Task Complexities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practices.
    • Conduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of internal control processes.
    • Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls, recommending improvements to strengthen internal controls.
    • Monitor compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and implement control testing procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
    • Collaborate with departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
    • Implement best practices for internal controls and risk management.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of internal control processes and testing results.
    • Prepare periodic reports for Management and Board of Directors, detailing control deficiencies and recommended actions.
    • Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks.
    • Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.
    • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely audit information is reported to Management
    • Provide training and support to employees on internal control policies and procedures.

    Required Skills / Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • 6 - 8 years’ previous experience in a similar role within a Manufacturing/Retail entity
    • ICAN or ACCA Qualification is an added advantage
    • Strong Analytical Skills, Finance, and Internal Controls knowledge
    • Excellent Communication and Auditing skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • Knowledge of ERP System.
