Job Summary:
The Area Business Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple fuel stations within a designated business area, ensuring operational efficiency, sales growth, and customer retention. The role involves driving corporate sales, managing station performance, ensuring policy compliance, and optimizing profitability across all assigned stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of multiple fuel stations within the assigned area, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to attract and retain corporate and bulk customers.
- Monitor station performances, ensuring sales targets and operational goals are met.
- Conduct regular station visits, providing leadership and support to station managers.
- Identify business growth opportunities and develop initiatives to enhance revenue and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, regulators, and corporate clients.
- Analyze financial and operational reports to make data-driven decisions.
- Train and develop station managers and staff to improve service delivery and efficiency.
- Address operational challenges and implement corrective actions to improve overall station performance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fuel similar role
- Proven track record in sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data and develop strategies for business growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business management tools.

The role involves managing staff, inventory, financial transactions, and operational standards while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fuel station, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Monitor fuel stock levels, coordinate timely replenishment, and manage inventory to prevent shortages or losses.
