    Regulatory/Pharmacovigilance Executive

    SALARY: 250K monthly net

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Acting as single contact point for NAFDAC on a 24-hour basis
    • Establishing and maintaining/managing the Company’s pharmacovigilance (PV) system
    • Ensuring the PV system is appropriately described in the PV System Master File (PSMF), overseeing its content and maintenance, and ensuring the availability of the PSMF to Competent Authorities (CA)
    • Having an overview of the safety profiles and any emerging safety concerns in relation to the medicinal products for which Company has received Marketing Authorization
    • Preparation of Periodic Safety Update Report for products and submission of same to relevant Regulatory Authorities
    • Submission of Adverse Drug Reactions to NAFDAC
    • Handling of suspected faking of Company’s product
    • Coordinating destruction of expired and rejected products and items.
    • Ensuring that Safety reporting processes are in place.
    • Preparing and managing safety reports
    • Collaborates with relevant functions internally to ensure an adequate level of awareness and education of Company employees, including medical representatives, as regards drug safety matters, safety data collection and reporting.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy/Relevant Sciences
    • Minimum 3 years Regulatory Experience in the industry.
    • Good working knowledge of Regulations and current industry practices.

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rice Parboiling Operator to join our team. As a Rice Parboiling Operator, you will play a vital role in the rice processing operation, ensuring that the parboiling process is conducted efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the production of high-quality rice products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Parboiling Process: Operate and monitor the parboiling equipment and machinery to process rice according to established procedures. This includes soaking, steaming, and drying rice to achieve optimal parboiled quality.
    • Quality Control: Monitor and control the parboiling parameters such as time, temperature, pressure, and moisture content to ensure consistent and high-quality parboiled rice production.
    • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the parboiling equipment to ensure its efficient operation. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
    • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the parboiling equipment. Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions to prevent accidents.
    • Data Recording: Maintain accurate records of production data, including processing times, quantities processed, and quality observations. Ensure documentation is complete and well-organized.
    • Quality Checks: Conduct visual inspections of parboiled rice to identify any defects, foreign materials, or irregularities. Take appropriate actions to remove substandard rice from the production line.
    • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other members of the production team, including rice milling operators and quality control personnel, to ensure a seamless production process.
    • Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot any operational issues that may arise during the parboiling process. Collaborate with maintenance and technical teams to resolve problems promptly.
    • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety.
    • Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement process improvements that enhance parboiling efficiency, product quality, and overall productivity.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in food processing is a plus.
    • Proven experience as a rice parboiling operator or in a similar food processing role.
    • Knowledge of rice parboiling processes, equipment, and operating principles.
    • Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards.
    • Ability to interpret and adjust process parameters based on visual cues and measurement tools.
