    Business Development Officer

    Role Summary

    • The Business Development Officer will support the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, engaging clients, and supporting sales and market expansion initiatives. This role is suitable for entry‑level to early‑career professionals eager to build a career in business development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities.
    • Support lead generation and market research activities.
    • Assist in developing and maintaining client relationships.
    • Participate in meetings and follow up on client enquiries and leads.
    • Support preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales documentation.
    • Maintain accurate records of clients and opportunities using CRM tools.
    • Collaborate with internal teams including finance, operations, and project teams.
    • Perform other duties assigned by the Business Development Lead.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
    • 0–2 years experience in business development, sales, marketing, or customer engagement (NYSC experience acceptable).
    • Basic understanding of sales and business development principles.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Self‑motivated, organized, and willing to learn.
