    Business Development Manager (Digital Business & Partnership)

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a comprehensive digital business strategy aligned with the overall business goals of the bank.
    • Identify and analyze digital trends and opportunities within the Nigerian microfinance landscape.
    • Identify and build strategic partnerships with fintech companies, payment companies, telecommunications providers, NGOs, and other relevant organizations.
    • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements that are mutually beneficial.
    • Manage and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring successful collaboration and value creation.
    • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to generate leads and acquire new clients.
    • Manage and oversee the performance of digital sales channels and products.
    • Analyze customer data and market trends to identify new business opportunities in the digital space.
    • Set and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for digital business growth and partnership success.
    • Regularly monitor and analyze the performance of digital initiatives and partnerships.
    • Generate reports and present findings to the board and management regarding digital business performance.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in business development, digital marketing, or a relevant field.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital business strategies.
    • Strong understanding of the Nigerian microfinance landscape and digital financial services (DFS) ecosystem.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools.

    Business Development Manager (Loans)

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve loan sales targets within the South-West public sector.
    • Prospect, identify, and qualify potential public sector loan clients (e.g., government ministries, local governments, paramilitary, parastatals).
    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations on loan products and services to public sector decision-makers.
    • Negotiate and close loan deals with favorable terms for the company.
    • Manage the entire loan application process, ensuring timely and accurate submission of documentation.
    • Maintain and expand relationships with key decision-makers within the public sector.
    • Conduct market research to stay updated on public sector trends, and competitor activity.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with public sector clients based on trust and mutual benefit.
    • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the loan lifecycle.
    • Proactively identify and address client needs and concerns.
    • Set and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for loan sales and client acquisition within the South-West region.
    • Generate regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and client relationships.
    • Analyze market data and client feedback to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a relevant field, preferably within the financial services industry.
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
    • Strong understanding of public sector finance and procurement processes in Nigeria.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
    • Experience working within the South-West region of Nigeria is a plus.
