    Business Development Manager (C&I)

    Job brief

    We are seeking a Business Development Manager -Commercial & Industrial (C&I) who will be responsible for driving business growth, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships for the company’s renewable energy solutions within the commercial and industrial sectors. The role focuses on identifying high-value opportunities, developing customized energy solutions, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets through the deployment of solar PV, energy storage, and other clean energy systems. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical-commercial knowledge of renewable energy solutions, Solar PV, excellent negotiation skills, and proven experience in managing large-scale C&I projects and enterprise clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    Business Development & Sales

    • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial market segment.
    • Drive sales of solar PV systems, hybrid energy systems, battery storage solutions, and related renewable energy products and installations.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and market expansion targets.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective C&I clients across multiple industries.
    • Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, corporate clients, and strategic partners.
    • Lead client presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
    • Understand customer energy needs and develop tailored renewable energy solutions.
    • Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.

    Project Development & Execution Support

    • Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to develop project proposals and energy solutions.
    • Coordinate site assessments, feasibility studies, and project costing activities.
    • Support contract execution, project implementation, and post-installation customer engagement.
    • Ensure smooth handover from sales to project delivery teams.

    Financial & Commercial Management

    • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, business cases, and financial models.
    • Negotiate pricing, payment structures, and commercial terms with clients.
    • Monitor project profitability and commercial performance.
    • Support financing discussions and energy-as-a-service business models where applicable.

    Partnerships & Market Expansion

    • Develop strategic alliances with EPC contractors, financiers, developers, and industry stakeholders.
    • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking engagements.
    • Identify opportunities for expansion into new markets and sectors.

    Reporting & Compliance

    • Prepare weekly and monthly sales and business development reports.
    • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

    Educational Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
    • Master’s Degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in renewable energy, with at least 4–6 years in a leadership or business management role.
    • Proven experience in C&I solar project sales and enterprise account management.
    • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, hybrid power systems, battery storage, and energy efficiency solutions.

    Sales Supervisor

    Job brief

    • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Supervisor to support the achievement of sales targets, customer acquisition, and market expansion for the company's Solar Home System (SHS) products within an assigned territory. The successful candidate will supervise Sales Officers and Field Agents, drive sales performance, monitor field activities, and ensure excellent customer service while supporting the implementation of the company's sales strategies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Sales Officers and Field Agents within the assigned territory.
    • Support the implementation of sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Drive customer acquisition for Solar Home Systems (SHS) and related energy solutions.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base within the assigned territory.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, community leaders, and key stakeholders.
    • Conduct regular field visits to monitor sales activities, provide coaching, and ensure adherence to company standards.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing recommendations to improve sales performance.

    Educational Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 -7 years' experience in sales supervision or field sales, preferably in renewable energy, FMCG, telecommunications, financial services, or a related industry.
    • Experience supervising field sales teams or agents is required.
    • Experience with Solar Home Systems (SHS) or PAYGO business models is an added advantage.s

    Project Officer

    • We are seeking a Project Officer who will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting minigrid projects. The role involves budget tracking, regulatory compliance, grant and tender management, and performance evaluation of project sites to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project Planning, Monitoring & Reporting
