    Business and Data Analyst

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

    • The Data Analyst, Talent Hub, will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive efficiency, accuracy, and strategic decision-making across the talent sourcing and assessment lifecycle. The role involves managing data flows across various platforms, analyzing assessment and performance metrics, and developing insightful dashboards and reports to support management decisions on talent supply, recruitment funnel health, and client headcount demand.

    Key Responsibilities

    Data Management and Integration

    • Collect, organize, and maintain data from multiple sources, including application platforms, assessment tools, and internal databases.
    • Liaise with third-party testing and application vendors to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely data transfer.
    • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all talent-related databases.
    • Support the continuous improvement of data collection and reporting systems to enhance reliability and usability.

    Data Analysis and Reporting

    • Collate and analyze test and assessment results to identify performance trends, readiness levels, and skill distribution across the talent pool.
    • Filter and segment the Talent Hub database to match client requirements and recruitment priorities.
    • Generate periodic and ad-hoc management reports highlighting key metrics such as talent pipeline health, conversion rates, assessment outcomes, and sourcing efficiency.
    • Build and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize key insights for leadership and operational teams.
    • Track and report on alignment between talent availability and client headcount demand.
    • Provide data-driven insights to inform recruitment strategies, sourcing optimization, and upskilling priorities.

    Governance and Quality Assurance

    • Maintain data quality standards through routine validation, cleaning, and documentation.
    • Support compliance with data protection regulations and internal data governance frameworks.
    • Create and update reporting templates and standard operating procedures for reporting and analysis.

    Qualifications And Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 2–4 years’ experience in data analytics, preferably within HR, recruitment, or operations environments.
    • Proven ability to work with large datasets and integrate data from multiple platforms (e.g., Zoho, test/assessment systems, ATS tools).
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
    • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
    • Experience creating and automating dashboards and management reports.
    • Familiarity with recruitment or talent analytics is a strong advantage.

    Manager, Talent Sourcing

    The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, process discipline, and data literacy with the ability to operationalize excellence at scale.
    Key Responsibilities

    Sourcing Strategy Design and Execution

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for entry-level candidates that aligns with Hugo’s global standards and evolving talent needs. Manage the circulation and administration of the Hugo Interest Form, ensuring consistent inflow and data quality.
    • Identify, test, and optimize sourcing channels — including social platforms, referrals, campaigns, and institutional outreach.
    • Establish a structured sourcing calendar and reporting cadence to track progress and outcomes.

    Screening, Testing, and Assessments

    • Oversee the administration of screening tools including proprietary and third-party , ensuring rigor, fairness, accuracy and cost efficiency.
    • Implement proctored assessments and quality control measures to uphold candidate integrity and readiness standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance assessment frameworks and improve predictive validity.
    • Monitor performance data to identify trends in candidate quality and pipeline conversion.

    Identity, Document, and Background Verification.

    • Coordinate the collection and review of candidate identity and credential documents.
    • Manage relationships with third-party vendors conducting background checks and ensure timely completion and accuracy
    • Maintain a secure and auditable process for candidate verification.

    Data Analytics and Reporting

    • Maintain a secure and auditable process for candidate verification
    • Use analytics and BI tools to track sourcing performance, funnel conversion, and assessment outcomes.
    • Generate insights to inform leadership decisions and continuous process improvement.
    • Support the build of dashboards and data visualizations for executive reporting.

    Process Design and Continuous Improvement

    • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all sourcing, screening, and verification stages
    • Ensure process consistency, speed, and quality across candidate journeys.
    • Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to recommend tools and platform improvements that streamline sourcing operations.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
    • 5–8 years of experience in talent sourcing, assessment management, or recruitment operations, preferably in fast-scaling or tech-enabled organizations.
    • Demonstrated success in building or optimizing sourcing systems and processes.
    • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities; experience with Google Sheets, BI dashboards, or data visualization tools.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills (Google Slides, Docs).
    • Exposure to global or multinational HR and talent standards is an advantage.
