We are looking for a creative and motivated Basic Video Editor (NYSC) to join our digital marketing team.
This role is ideal for a serving NYSC corps member who is passionate about video editing, content creation, and storytelling.
You will work closely with our creative team to produce engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and client projects while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms, websites, and digital campaigns.
Trim, arrange, and enhance raw footage using basic transitions, effects, text, and music.
Create engaging video content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Assist in developing creative concepts for promotional and marketing videos.
Add subtitles, captions, logos, and simple motion graphics where required.
Organize and manage video files and project assets efficiently.
Collaborate with graphic designers, content creators, and social media managers to deliver high-quality content.
Stay updated with current video editing trends and social media content formats.
Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must be a serving NYSC Corps Member.
Must live in or close to Ajah for proximity to the office at Ogombo Road, Abraham Adesanya.
Basic knowledge of video editing software such asCapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and export settings for different social media platforms.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and CapCuteffects is an added advantage.
Creative mindset with a good eye for storytelling, composition, and visual aesthetics.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
A portfolio or samples of previously edited videos will be an added advantage.
