    Automotive Sales Manager (North)

    • The ideal candidate must be a commercially driven professional who blends deep technical knowledge of Trailer Braking Systems with a proven track record of hitting revenue and margin targets. They must be a strategic "hunter" capable of securing new business relationships and providing expert technical consultations to ensure the company's brands dominate the market.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive sales of trailer braking systems including ABS, Conventional Braking System, air brake components, pressure filters, modulators, sensors, and related spare parts.
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the trailer, truck, and fleet market segments.
    • Develop sales strategies for expanding market share in assigned regions.
    • Build strong relationships with Fleet operators, Trailer manufacturers, Commercial transport companies, Dealerships, Independent workshops etc.
    • Identify emerging market opportunities within the commercial vehicle sector.
    • Promote company products through presentations, technical demonstrations, and industry events.
    • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts.
    • Provide technical guidance to customers on braking systems and safety technologies.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
    • Work closely with technical teams to provide solutions for customers.
    • Support workshops and fleets with technical advice on Trailer braking systems, Diagnostics and troubleshooting and System upgrades & retrofits.
    • Conduct product training for distributors, dealers, and workshops.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and new technologies in braking systems.
    • Gather market feedback and provide insights for product development and pricing strategy.
    • Prepare sales forecasts and market reports.
    • Manage sales activities across assigned territories.
    • Plan customer visits and dealer engagements.
    • Establish and maintain a network of distributors and service partners.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 2–3 years of proven experience in automotive sales, specifically within commercial vehicles, trailers, or heavy-duty braking systems.
    • Hands-on experience working with fleet operators, trailer manufacturers, and large-scale workshops.
    • Deep technical knowledge of air brake systems, ABS, and conventional braking technologies.
    • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, or QuickBooks) to manage sales pipelines and customer data.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a track record of meeting and exceeding high-value revenue targets.
    • Ability to conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations where necessary.
    • Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel across assigned territories for client visits and dealer engagements.
    • Professional certification in Sales Management (e.g., Institute of Certified Sales Professionals) or Automotive Engineering is an advantage.

    Sales Manager (Engine & Trailer Parts)

    • The ideal candidate must be a skilled negotiator and strategic 'hunter,' capable of implementing effective sales strategies, managing high-level contracts, and collaborating with product teams to maximize profitability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
    • Provide technical advice and product knowledge to customers regarding spare parts.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
    • Collaborate with the product management team for proper ordering.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and performance analysis.
    • Liaise with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure consistent product availability and timely delivery.
    • Oversee technical warranty claims to resolve part defects while protecting company interests.
    • Provide structured feedback to procurement regarding part performance and recurring technical failures.
    • Execute a structured territory visitation plan for industrial hubs to increase brand visibility.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in automotive spare parts sales in Nigeria.
    • Strong knowledge of vehicle spare parts (OEM and aftermarket).
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
    • Computer literacy and Proficiency in CRM software and accounting tools (e.g., Zoho, QuickBooks) for sales tracking and reporting.
    • Strong analytical skills for sales forecasting and monitoring gross profit margins.
    • Willingness to travel extensively to various industrial hubs and commercial motor parks within assigned territories.
    • Knowledge of the competitive landscape and the ability to distinguish between genuine and counterfeit parts.
