    Automation Engineer - Packaging

    Rols and Responsibilities

    • Creates and maintains a safe environment according to the applicable statutory, HEINEKEN and local regulations, policies and procedures.
    • Feeds Planning team leader and maintenance planner with preventive maintenance plans  to failures and  restore assets to basic condition.
    • Supports resolution of Automation linked Corrective Maintenance in Packaging
    • Mentors and trains PM, CM and Machine Specialists in executing breakdown analysis and implementation of minor stops, alarm & speed loss reduction process
    • Provide high level of production network security through effective network/systems administration and adherence to information security policy for the PCD as the alternate network/systems administrator in his/her work area.
    • Manages assigned project by developing an accurate plan, defining clear scope while allocating sufficient resources to achieve specific goals On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) and within budget.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2nd Class upper or 2nd Class lower with a Master degree in Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Systems/Software Engineering. A masters degree offers an added advantage.
    • 4+ years of experience driving maintenance engineering processes. 
    • Good knowledge of maintenance operations and CMMS (i.e. asset master data key-user and becoming/training for asset master data expert).
    • Possess basic knowledge of cost driver and performance killer analysis, ABC criticality ranking, preventive maintenance, critical spare parts selection, item segmentation & inventory management, asset performance management.
    • Excellent technical maintenance analysis- and reporting skills. 
    • People management and leadership experience. 
    • In-depth competence in maintenance methodology, TPM or Six Sigma  and project management.
    • Experience in change management and process improvement activities, designing scalable solutions and implementing these at pace and at scale.

    Government Affairs Manager

    Job Description

    • The Government Affairs Manager is a politically savvy professional with access to key stakeholders in government and a dependable enabler for the company to shape public policies and lead advocacies on corporate affairs campaigns that are material to business sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Providing the business with strategic advice by identifying and capturing investment opportunities in collaboration with government, while protecting the value of existing assets
    • Identifying key national policies and political opportunities/risks that impact short and long term business goals including draft alcohol regulation, excise administration, tax stamps and production licenses to shape campaign strategies.
    • Establishing and maintaining regular contacts with key decision makers and developing a robust stakeholder maps and engagement plans to leverage key platforms for high-level participation by the company.
    • Analysing legislative and public policy documents with impact on business continuity, developing submissions and generating reports on their status and action plan
    • Executing tactical advocacies with government and communication plans to support  business objectives
    • Contributing to the development of unit strategies and priorities as part of the annual business plan for the Corporate Affairs function
    • Providing written reports and formal presentation to senior colleagues on outcomes of engagement with stakeholders and advice on contact with decision makers.

    Educational Qualification

    • University Degree in Social Sciences
    • An MBA with specialization in marketing or strategy offers an added advantage.

    Work Experience:

    • 4-6 years relevant experience in public policy analysis and advocacy, government affairs and regulatory relations.
    • Good understanding of the Nigerian political environment and experience in developing coalitions with thought leaders and industry associations.

    Shift Manager - Brewing

    Description

    • We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Supply Chain team as a Shift Manager Brewing.
    • The Shift Manager Brewing is responsible for ensuring that the safety agenda is implemented in area of responsibility (Brewing and Utilities), managing the entire process with the aim of reaching the planned quantities and production quality and improving the key performance indicators while striving for continuous improvement

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Creates and maintains a safe environment according to the applicable statutory, HEINEKEN and local regulations, policies and procedures.
    • Effectively manages the brewing/utilities process and realizes the production plan by ensuring optimal engagement of people and oversees the interfaces with other production processes and sections.
    • Sustains and improves product quality and process conditions in the brewing and Utilities, in compliance with the HEINEKEN and local quality standards, regulations and procedure
    • Ensures the execution of the CIP activities to support proper hygiene standard. Also supports delivery of the maintenance plan, and controls the delivered maintenance services to the production assets
    • Manages assigned project by developing an accurate plan, defining clear scope while allocating sufficient resources to  achieve specific goals On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) and within budget
    • Plans and deploys resources (people, materials, process and equipment) to meet customer needs safely whilst excelling at quality and balancing costs
    • Produces and reports data in an accurate and timely way; analyzes and interprets this data and effectively communicates it to relevant stakeholders, in order to facilitate optimal decision taking

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2nd Class upper or 2nd Class lower in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pure Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Biotechnology and Biological sciences. A masters degree offers an added advantage.
    • 4+ years of experience in a Manufacturing/Production environment preferably Brewing department or its equivalent.
    • Membership of Institute of Brewing and Distilling professional organization/body is an added advantage. 
    • Experience in change management and process improvement activities, designing scalable solutions and implementing these at pace and at scale
    • Passionate about innovations in CVE and product development or design.
    • Experience with managing and leading multi-cultural teams for high performance
