    Assistant Factory Supervisor

    Job Summary:

    • As an Assistant Factory Supervisor at Webber Engineering Nigeria Limited, you will play a crucial role in supporting the safe, efficient, and high-quality production within the factory.
    • You will provide leadership to production teams, maintain essential records, drive process enhancements, and promote a positive work environment while working under the guidance of the Factory Operations Supervisor.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Production Support:

    • Assist in leading and guiding production teams to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to schedules.
    • Collaborate with the Factory Operations Supervisor to monitor operations for efficiency, minimizing downtime and ensuring on-time deliveries.
    • Support the training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of processes and safety protocols.

    Efficiency Collaboration:

    • Work collaboratively across departments to optimize production efficiency and promptly resolve operational issues.
    • Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

    Data Management and Reporting:

    • Support the maintenance of accurate production records, reporting key metrics to higher management.
    • Assist in preparing and delivering regular reports on production performance, challenges, and achievements.
    • Contribute to inventory management and assist in maintaining proper inventory control.

    Safety and Team Support:

    • Collaborate with the Factory Operations Supervisor to enforce safety regulations, address safety concerns, and promote a safety-conscious culture.
    • Assist in managing team performance, providing support for disciplinary matters in alignment with company policies.

    Positive Work Environment:

    • Contribute to the promotion of teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement.
    • Provide support in delivering regular reports and updates to higher-level management.

    Requirement

    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
    • Equivalent work experience in a heavy production factory.
    • Additional certifications in production management, lean manufacturing, or a related field are advantageous.
    • Demonstrate leadership and team management abilities.
    • Strong understanding of safety and quality standards.
    • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
    • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and experience in process improvement.
    • Basic understanding of production data management and reporting.
    • Awareness of inventory management practices.
    • Proximity to Ayetoro and Ayobo axis is required.

    Project Manager

    Job Summary:

    • As a Project Manager at Webber Engineering Nigeria Limited, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the successful completion of our manufacturing, engineering and construction projects. Your responsibilities will encompass project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, with a strong focus on meeting project goals within scope, time, and budget constraints. You will work closely with stakeholders, coordinate resources, and ensure that all project activities align with the company’s objectives and quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Conduct project risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Lead project execution from start to finish, overseeing quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
    • Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to keep projects on track.
    • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
    • Track expenses, review budget variances, and implement cost-saving measures.
    • Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
    • Enforce compliance with safety and quality standards on-site.
    • Perform regular quality checks and resolve issues proactively to maintain high standards.
    • Document and report on quality metrics and safety incidents.
    • Maintain clear, proactive communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
    • Prepare and present project reports, including performance metrics, financial summaries, and milestone achievements.
    • Foster strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, invoices, and reports.
    • Prepare comprehensive project closeout documents and ensure all deliverables are met.
    • Manage documentation of project adjustments, lessons learned, and best practices.
    • Conduct regular site visits and inspections, ensuring alignment with project goals.
    • Manage and resolve conflicts or challenges that may impact project delivery.
    • Assist with staff training, project scheduling, and other duties as required to support project success.

    Requirements:

    • 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the manufacturing, engineering or construction industry.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
    • Proven track record of managing projects in the manufacturing, engineering and construction industry from inception to completion.
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in project management software.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with manufacturing, engineering and construction industry standards and quality assurance practices.
    • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
