    Area General Services Manager (Borno, Bauchi)

    • Facility management: Ensuring that services such as general fixed asset maintenance, adaptation and face-lifting of existing branches, allocation of offices to staff members and are executed professionally in their respective regions in Nigeria. 
    • Project managing all on-going construction projects: new branches, adaptation of existing branches, relocation of branches, face-lifting of existing branches/ other bank’s properties such Private banking and Archive buildings, in all bank locations in Nigeria. 
    • Construction Project management from site handing over /progress meetings/site inspections at regular intervals to ensure project execution is in consonance with the bank’s required deliverables. 
    • Ensure high quality of project, branch equipment and building maintenance documentation

    • Ensuring monthly decontamination of branches: Carry out disinfection exercise of branches monthly and as prescribed 
    • Equipment cannibalization: Conducts relocation of assets from closed/non-operational branches to identified locations of need and ensure cost is saved for the bank 
    • Responsible for pre-vacation inspection, surrender of lease arrangement and negotiation of redecoration fee with landlords of closed/ relocated branches 
    • Facilitation of perfection of title documents for bank owned properties 
    • Maintenance of pool vehicles 
    • Coordinate between all functional teams involved in the branch opening for upcountry branches and rack the quality of all deliverables

    Area General Services Manager (Rivers, Bayelsa)

    • Facility management: Ensuring that services such as general fixed asset maintenance, adaptation and face-lifting of existing branches, allocation of offices to staff members and are executed professionally in their respective regions in Nigeria. 
    • Project managing all on-going construction projects: new branches, adaptation of existing branches, relocation of branches, face-lifting of existing branches/ other bank’s properties such Private banking and Archive buildings, in all bank locations in Nigeria. 
    • Construction Project management from site handing over /progress meetings/site inspections at regular intervals to ensure project execution is in consonance with the bank’s required deliverables. 
    • Ensure high quality of project, branch equipment and building maintenance documentation 
    • Monitoring the executions of mega/CSR projects financed by the bank for customers by ensuring quality control and quality assurance are as specified by the bank project documents and coordination of all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of tasks and avoid loss of funds. 
    • Branch premises inspectors: identifying defects in the bank’s buildings and pursuing the process of approvals for remedial works for quick fixing/execution to ensure brand preservation. 
    • Branch machines/equipment maintenance inspectors: Monitor the installation, operation and maintenance of generators on monthly basis or as prescribed, verify integrity of electrical protection devices (thunder/lighting arrestors, surge arrestors and earthing protection) quarterly in branches/Bank buildings under areas of coverage to ensure optimal performance of equipment and avoid equipment downtimes. 
    • Ensuring periodic proactive maintenance management of all bank branch operational equipment such as air conditioners, fire extinguishers, water sprinklers systems, FM200, inverters, batteries, photocopiers, CCTV, security doors, generators, etc. in all branches to guard against down-time which can impact negatively on the bank’s operations 
    • Vetting/negotiations of contractors’ tenders in consonance with approved bank/market rates for required maintenance services, liaising with branch operatives for required concurrences and processing of requisite approvals. 
    • Working with the HBS/BMs/BDMs on construction/cladding of ATM Kiosk models and positioning of ATMs in Branches and coordination of the civil, I.T and electrical works in connection with ATM installations in all branches of purview.
    • • Carrying out physical valuation of jobs, preparation of valuation certificates, claims, final account, and practical completion certificate after due diligence and satisfactory completion to the bank’s standard, for all projects within the areas of purview. 
    • Prompt resolution of branch operational challenges, liaising with other stakeholders on issue resolution and escalating issues to management if there is a breach in SLAs with vendors 
    • Providing standard protocol services to visiting staff and executives when the need arises. 
    • Inspection, certification of landed properties, negotiation in conjunction with stakeholders and recommendation for Management approval. 
    • Coordination of the entire construction process, delivery of relevant equipment, work tools, furniture, and others for smooth take-off of branch operations after completion. 
    • Pre-qualification of sub-contractors for the remedial works (masonry works, electrical works, plumbing works, etc.) and periodical training sessions with vendors on improving/new techniques in resolving task issues. 
    • Collating and reporting of weekly progress update of all on-going projects/maintenance reports to Area General Services Coordinator for onward management awareness/necessary use 
    • Liaising with statutory government authorities and negotiation of yearly demand notices, facilitation of ground rent and other estate related charges from various Government parastatals and Agencies, facilitation of statutory payment to ensure business premises are not hindered from operational services. 
    • Implementation of Services Level Agreement (SLA) on bank equipment with all approved vendors and enforce the executed SLA. 
    • Ensuring quarterly rodent baiting and fumigation of branches to keep bank business environment safe for operations 
    • Ensuring monthly decontamination of branches: Carry out disinfection exercise of branches monthly and as prescribed 
    • Equipment cannibalization: Conducts relocation of assets from closed/non-operational branches to identified locations of need and ensure cost is saved for the bank 
    • Responsible for pre-vacation inspection, surrender of lease arrangement and negotiation of redecoration fee with landlords of closed/ relocated branches 
    • Facilitation of perfection of title documents for bank owned properties 
    • Maintenance of pool vehicles 
    • Coordinate between all functional teams involved in the branch opening for upcountry branches and rack the quality of all deliverables

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • First degree in Architecture, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. Professional Certifications (an added advantage)
    • Minimum experience: 5 to 8years relevant experience is required.

    Quality Assurance Manager Lagos & West

    • Manage quality assurance processes across all development, renovation, and maintenance projects within assigned coverage areas. 
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure all construction work aligns with approved designs, regulatory codes, and brand standards. 
    • Develop and maintain project-specific quality checklists, procedures, and documentation for all phases of construction and facility upgrades. 
    • Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits during and after construction to identify deviations from quality standards and recommend corrective actions.

    • Monitor compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and reject substandard works across all job sites
    • Track and report on quality performance indicators and issue resolutions to Head-RES, Head Engineering and Area General Services Coordinator. 
    • Participate in pre-handover inspections, snagging, and final acceptance processes to ensure quality delivery by signing off on Job Completion Certificate (JCC) of all projects-Engineering & Civil works. 
    • Prepares monthly technical report on branch visitation and materials peculiar to specific terrain for renovation works. 
    • Prepares technical report on FirstBank subsidiaries in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. 
    • Works closely with the Design team to ensure space allocation and seat arrangements are optimize to the satisfaction of customers and staff bankwide.
