    Admin / Operations Manager

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Job Summary

    • We are currently looking to hire a young, vibrant, energetic, and presentable Admin / Operations Manager to help drive profitability for the business.

    Job Description

    • Preparing, organizing, and storing information in paper and digital form Dealing with queries on the phone and by email and Managing diaries.
    • Scheduling meetings and booking rooms Arranging travel and accommodation,
    • Ordering office supplies Maintaining office systems Liaising with suppliers and contractors Liaising with staff in other departments, e.g. finance, HR
    • Represents the MD in meetings when absent.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
    • Master’s Degree is an added advantage
    • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

    Director of Trade & Programs

    Our client, a foremost bilateral chamber in Nigeria is currently looking for a Director of Trade & Programs. Basic responsibilities include implementing a strategic relationship program on trade, marketing the country as an investment destination, and developing a strong collaborative relationship with partners and stakeholders, including international investment agencies.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The setup and management of activities of the International Trade & Investment Desk
    • organizing programs for the chamber.
    • Managing and supporting trade applications for members and non-members through the trading desk
    • Developing commercial services and new products focussing on increasing Chamber revenues
    • Reviewing trade and investment policies and procedures and ensuring the proper utilization of the Chamber’s Advocacy platform to disseminate the right information
    • Identifying key partnerships within the public and private sector and improving the Chamber footprint in relation to trade and investment
    • Supporting clients and members through the provision of practical and technical advice around international trade and high-level service delivery such as Trade Missions and consultancy.
    • Trade Service team delivery, including managing own and KPIs of Trade Service department Programme department and seasonal interns
    • Ensuring a high level of customer service across the team, role modeling leadership behaviors
    • Ensuring income generation through building and account management of key partners
    • Working alongside the Head of the Membership department to implement new tools to increase leads and revenue to Chamber services

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
    • Age range- 35-45 years
    • Master’s degree/ Post Graduate degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, International Trade/Business/ Relations, or any related field from a recognized institution.
    • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of National/International goals, policies, and development objectives and the ability to translate them into trade development programs/projects.
    • Senior Management Experience and strong leadership and motivational skills and the ability to develop a results-focused, collegiate team ethos.
    • Results-oriented and willing to make a personal commitment to meeting quantitative and qualitative targets.
    • Knowledge of economies and business drivers.
