Job Description

• We are looking for a well seasoned Accounts Officer who will keep precise records of incoming and outgoing payments for the organization.
• This may include arranging payment requests, making payments for services, verifying accounts payable and receivable, and researching financial account activity, among other duties.

Responsibilities

• Adept computer skills and proficiency using programs like QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Advanced math skills to keep accurate records and supervise the bookkeeping of an organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact regularly with clients regarding sensitive topics like billing and payments
• Excellent organization skills for maintaining clear, accurate and meticulous financial records for a company
• Attention to detail for ensuring the accuracy of a company’s records and invoices
• Multitasking in order to successfully handle multiple accounts, invoices and payments at various stages of execution
• Excellent efficiency for handling any accounting issues quickly with minimal interference.

Educational Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc. in Accounts / Finance from a reputable University
• Excellent knowledge of finance management.
• Professional certifications would be added advantage.
• Minimum Experience Required: 5 years and above
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suites.

Description

• We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our staff. In this role, you will gain experience and learn essential industry skills by assisting our team with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and other projects for clients.
• You will help ensure our records are consistent with all submitted financial statements.
• As an Accounting Intern, you will also post journal entries to the general ledger and perform administrative duties, such as data entry and filing.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Help prepare invoice and expense reports
• Analyze financial data
• Perform research for budgeting and financial forecasting
• Check financial documents and journal entries for accuracy
• File documents
• Provide administrative support as needed
