Account Officer at Clinix Healthcare Nigeria

Job Summary

• The Account Officer will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting the smooth financial operations of the Ilupeju facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting for the facility.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and follow-up on outstanding bills.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
• Support payroll processing and staff-related financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, financial policies, and internal controls.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
• Liaise with internal teams and external auditors when necessary.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or in progress) is an added advantage.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting is a plus).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
