In February 2001, the concern of a group of friends to have a channel through which the public could propose in public life to defend human life, freedom of education, of the family as the basic cell of society and of religious freedom it became a reality. With the coming to power of Rodriguez Zapatero and the equalization of marriage to unions between people with same-sex attraction in 2004, HO launches a Popular Legislative Initiative (ILP) for marriage and children. That same year the first HO Awards were held and the following year, the "campaign was conducted Europe So No "to prevent the approval of the European Constitution and HazteOir was one of the driving entities mass demonstrations by the family and freedom education threatened by the Organic Law of Education.
