Remuneration: 200,000 Net/Month

Job Description: We need a Video Editor who can work with our client, a top music production company in Nigeria. The preferred candidates must have vast experience in media production and communication.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Assemble all raw footage

• Input and synchronize uncut rushes and sound

• Digitally cut files

• Create a “rough cut” or assembly edit

• Reorder and fine-tune content

• Additionally, editors may:

• Oversee audio engineering and editing quality and progress

• Experiment with styles and techniques

• Write commentary/voiceover

• Select or suggest music

• Online editing duties may also be required, such as:

• Finalizing technical aspects like footage or coloring

• Adding special effects

• Must provide show reel to demonstrate skills or productions worked on,

• Will be required to take a practical skill demonstration test

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a professional video editor

• Must be good with colour grading and graphics design

• Prefered candidates must be able to synchronise sound tracks

• Vast knowledge of video media production

• Vast knowledge of editing software

• Experience in film and media

• Must be able to make independent creative decisions

• Applicants must live anywhere on the Island i.e Ajah, Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lagos Island, Ibeju Lekki.

• Strong and effective communication skills.

• Report to the office at least 4 times a week, full time job, work remotely sometimes and working hours are flexible.
