We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to handle the inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty trucks and vans.

The ideal candidate must be hands-on with diesel engines, brake systems, transmissions, and electrical components to ensure the trucks are always in top operational condition.

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and routine servicing of trucks.
• Inspect engines, brakes and other key systems for faults.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
• Use diagnostic tools and manuals to identify and fix technical issues.
• Ensure trucks meet safety, roadworthiness, and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of services, repairs, and parts used.
• Work closely with fleet officer and management to schedule and prioritize repairs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3–5 years proven experience as a Truck Mechanic.
• Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and electrical components.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults with minimal supervision.
• Relevant technical or vocational certification in mechanical engineering/automobile technology.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
