    Treasury Manager, Finance

    Job Description

    • M-B Automobile Services Limited requires an Accountant with 3 to 4 years’ experience working in the Finance or Treasury department to join its Finance Team in Lagos. The Treasury Manager will assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in making critical financial decisions by collecting and tracking the Company’s expenses.
    • You will be responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.
    • You will provide administrative support to the the CFO and will work with the finance team to help maintain and smoothly run the accounts department.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all accounting transactions including collections and recording of all receipts.
    • Publish financial statements in time and handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely bank payments.
    • Preparation of all monetary payment instruments and bank reconciliation statements.
    • Will deal with purchase ledger and sales ledger duties in the accounts payable and receivable function.
    • Prepare daily treasury position and perform daily cash receipts, deposits, invoices, expenses and reports.
    • Assist with administering payroll and maintaining petty cash for the office.
    • Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients.
    • Assisting in month end closing of accounts.
    • Handling and dealing with matters relating to taxes, pension and Industrial Training Fund.
    • Adhere to the company's or organisation's financial policies and procedures.
    • Communicate with all departments in ensuring invoices are approved and signed off.
    • Using computerised accounting systems.
    • Assisting with any other ad hoc duties as required by the CFO.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
    • 3 to 4 years working experience as an auditor.
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
    • Organisation and attention to detail
    • Analytical, problem solving and attention to detail.
