Lead the management and implementation of youth training in Kaduna state
Coordinate all efforts of all identified partners in contributing to training activities in Kaduna State
Assist with the selection of trainee cohort and inputs to the trainee database
Assist with the identification and screening of sites for training and incubation
Determine the equipment needs of training sites and advice for upgrade
Lead training of trainers for identified facilitators
Integrate promising advanced agricultural technologies into curriculum, attachments, and incubation.
Assist with the development of a curriculum that reflects private sector needs and standards of competency.
Supervise and monitor trained youths alongside the M/E officer(s).
Assist the State Coordinator in drafting training and activity progress reports and other reports from the locations as required.
Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
BSc/HND in Agriculture Extension or social science-related courses with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.
COMPETENCIES:
The ideal candidate must:
Be computer literate with a good working knowledge of computer-based control systems, shared network drives, and Excel packages.
Be experienced in working with youths.
B experienced in designing agribusiness training curriculum for youths.
Have good team working skills and must be able to share all relevant information with colleagues and users pro-actively at the right time.
Have good manners in showing flexibility, respect, friendliness, and cooperation.
