Job Description

• CapitalSage is looking for Telemarketers to generate POS sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

• Cold call people using a given phone directory to sell products
• Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
• Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
• Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
• Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how services meet their needs
• Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information

Go the “extra mile” to meet sales:

• VTU target of 5,000,000
• Electricity Bill payment target of 5,000,000
• Data Subscription target of 5,000,000
• Cable Subscription
• Telesales of 50 terminals monthly

Required Education and Experience

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND qualification with 1 - 3 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
• Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
• A fluent English speaker with exceptional communication skills-Oral and Written
• Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Write clear reports and keep accurate records
• Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints.
