Technical Services Manager at SwiftSync Consulting

Position Overview

• The Technical Services Manager will lead our technical operations, ensuring optimal performance of all manufacturing equipment, implementing innovative agricultural technologies, and maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.
• This role is critical for driving technical excellence and supporting our operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical aspects of agro-manufacturing operations, including equipment maintenance, process optimization, and technology upgrades.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficiency
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and ensure compliance with NAFDAC, SON, and international quality standards
• Manage technical teams including engineers, technicians, and quality control specialists.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve processing efficiency and product quality
• Conduct technical training programs for operations staff and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborate with R&D teams on product development and process improvement initiatives
• Manage technical budgets, vendor relationships, and equipment procurement processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or related technical field
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in technical management within agro-processing or food manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural processing equipment, automation systems, and quality control procedures
• Experience with HACCP, ISO 22000, and other food safety management systems
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex engineering projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering or related field
• Professional engineering certification (COREN registration preferred)
• Experience with IoT, automation, and digital manufacturing technologies
• Knowledge of sustainable manufacturing practices and environmental compliance.
