The Technical Sales Support officer will beresponsible for providing technical assistance and sales support to clients and the internal sales team.
The role involves understanding the company’s construction chemical products, assisting in pre-sales and post-sales activities, and ensuring seamless customer experience through technical guidance and product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise onproducts to customers and internal teams.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients, engineers, and contractors.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, applications, and industry standards.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical proposals and solutions tailored to customer needs.
Assist in preparing technical documentation, tenders, and project specifications.
Follow up with clients to ensure proper product application and customer satisfaction.
Organize and conduct training sessions for clients, distributors, new hires and internal sales teams.
Educate customers on best practices for using Armorsil products in various applications.
Provide support for marketing initiatives by developing technical content and case studies.
Gather insights on industry trends, competitors, and customer requirements.
Provide feedback to the product development team to improve product offerings.
Identify opportunities for product improvements or new product development.
Maintain accurate records of technical support activities and client interactions.
Prepare reports on customer feedback, product performance, and market trends.
Assist in the development of technical brochures, manuals etc.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales support, preferably in the construction chemicals industry.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficient technical knowledge of construction chemicals, waterproofing solutions, adhesives, and coatings.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Professional customer relationship management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
