    Technical Sales Executive - Specification

    Job Purpose

    • The Specification Specialist will be responsible for driving product awareness and adoption by building strong relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and project developers. 
    • This role involves specifying Armorsil’s products in building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting the sales team to increase market share.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and engage key stakeholders (architects, engineers, consultants, and developers) to introduce and specify Armorsil products in projects.
    • Develop and maintain a database of project specifications and potential leads.
    • Provide technical guidance on product applications, compliance, and industry standards.
    • Deliver compelling product presentations and technical seminars to target audiences.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to convert specified products into actual sales.
    • Identify new market trends, project opportunities, and competitors' activities.
    • Develop strategies to increase product specifications in ongoing and upcoming projects.
    • Prepare and submit accurate technical documentation, including datasheets, product manuals, and specifications.
    • Ensure all product specifications comply with regulatory and industry standards.
    • Provide market feedback on product performance.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers in the construction industry.
    • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and seminars to network and promote products.
    • Follow up on specified projects to ensure product selection and support the sales cycle.

    Qualifications & Competencies

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
    • 2 - 5 years of experience in product specification within the construction or building materials industry.
    • Strong technical understanding of construction chemicals industry standards.
    • Proven ability to build relationships with industry stakeholders.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

    Technical Sales Support Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Technical Sales Support officer will beresponsible for providing technical assistance and sales support to clients and the internal sales team. 
    • The role involves understanding the company’s construction chemical products, assisting in pre-sales and post-sales activities, and ensuring seamless customer experience through technical guidance and product demonstrations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide technical expertise onproducts to customers and internal teams.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients, engineers, and contractors.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications, applications, and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical proposals and solutions tailored to customer needs.
    • Assist in preparing technical documentation, tenders, and project specifications.

    • Organize and conduct training sessions for clients, distributors, new hires and internal sales teams.
    • Educate customers on best practices for using Armorsil products in various applications.

    • Identify opportunities for product improvements or new product development.
    • Maintain accurate records of technical support activities and client interactions.
    • Prepare reports on customer feedback, product performance, and market trends.
    • Assist in the development of technical brochures, manuals etc.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales support, preferably in the construction chemicals industry.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Proficient technical knowledge of construction chemicals, waterproofing solutions, adhesives, and coatings.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
    • Professional customer relationship management skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
