We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to own the roadmap and execution of core payment gateway APIs, infrastructure-level features, and platform tooling.
You will work closely with the engineering team to scope technical solutions that support high availability, low-latency transactions, and seamless payment integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Define technical product requirements and detailed user stories for API enhancements, webhooks, settlements, transaction validation, reconciliation, and authentication workflows.
Work with engineering and DevOps to prioritize performance, security, and scalability features that align with payment compliance (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
Translate complex backend processes (e.g. transaction routing, retry logic, chargeback handling) into product features with business impact.
Manage cross-functional initiatives involving developers, QA, customer support, and business teams.
Own internal tools and dashboards used for monitoring merchant transactions, resolving disputes, or reporting.
Ensure SLAs and KPIs (e.g. uptime, latency, error rates) are monitored and continuously improved.
Requirements
Candidates should possess 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a technical or fintech environment.
Proven experience working with API-first platforms and backend engineering teams.
Understanding of payment flows, card schemes, payment processors, or settlement operations is a major plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to model technical and business trade-offs.
Experience with tools like Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, REST APIs, Git, Jira, SQL, and Figma.
