    Technical and Procurement Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Developing procurement strategies that are cost-effective.
    • Sourcing, engaging, building and maintaining long-term relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
    • Handling logistics and overseeing the security unit.
    • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.
    • Reviewing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
    • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
    • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
    • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
    • Overseeing and managing the inventory of goods to serve the hotel and other businesses.
    • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
    • Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
    • Plan and manage technical projects.
    • Implement, develop, and maintain projects and software frameworks or tools.

    • Manages technical activities within the industry.
    • Surely provides technical oversight to internal resources.
    • Provides technical expertise to managers, staff, and clients
    • Develops and manages technical training
    • Manages technical resources within the industry.
    • Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards staff and customers at all times.
    • Carrying out all other tasks in the ordinary course of business which the management reasonably consider necessary or proper in the interest of the Company in your capacity as Technical and Procurement Manager.

    Requirements and skills for procurement and and technical manager

    • Proven working experience as a Procurement and technical Manager, Procurement and technical Officer or Head of Procurement and Technicals.
    • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
    • Talent in negotiations and networking
    • Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
    • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
    • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
    • Strong leadership capabilities
    • BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
