Team Leader, Operations (Real Estate) at IHS Towers

The Opportunity

• IHS Towers is expanding our global footprint and we are seeking an individual to join our Real Estate team in Nigeria as a Team Leader, Operations. The Team Leader, Operations will ensure adherence to company policies and processes for acquiring, renewing and managing leases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the site lease database, ensuring quality data inputs to the Lease Database Management System (LDMS).
• Ensure timely renewal of all leases to mitigate risk exposures of the business that may result from expired leases.
• Trigger leases eligible for renewal and assign to consultants a year before expiration of the lease.
• Coordinate and monitor activities of the Land Lease Operations team to ensure timely, efficient and smooth running of renewal processes.
• Develop and deliver progress reports on lease renewals to the team and other key stakeholders.
• Manage Purchase Order (PO) processing for lease renewals/ purchase and consultancy fees.
• Keep records of all POs originating from Real Estate.
• Provide support and guidance to the Real Estate team and external consultants on use of the company’s LDMS.
• Serve as interface between Real Estate and other key internal stakeholders such as Finance, Operations, and Information Technology (IT).
• Perform integrity checks on the LDMS to ensure data accuracy and quality of information.
• Manage the departmental budget, prepare forecasts and participate in monthly expense reconciliation with Finance.
• Prepare timely ad hoc reports relating to site lease information as may be required.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Land Lease.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant numeric disciplines.
• +5 years’ relevant experience.
