The Head of Sustainability & Consumer Protection department will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable business practices and initiatives in the bank.
The role will involve creating strategies to reduce environmental impact, promote social responsibility, and support the bank's long-term sustainable growth.
They also lead efforts to ensure compliance with consumer protection laws and regulations, safeguarding customers' rights, and interests.

Key Result Areas
Lead Business Continuity Process activities, coordinate across departments, manage resources, present to senior management, and recommend improvements in line with the regulatory environment.
Apply technical security concepts such as access controls and cryptography, and conduct vulnerability, risk, and security audits of IT infrastructure.
Apply network and endpoint security principles, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, VPNs, anti-virus, and anti-malware.
Champion an inclusive, innovative workplace culture and serve as the go-to person for stakeholder management within and outside the organization.
Develop and implement enterprise-wide stakeholder management strategies, proactively collaborating to drive business outcomes and resolve conflicts at all levels.
Apply strong knowledge of the banking industry, regulatory and compliance issues, and financial products such as treasury management, trade finance, and capital markets to develop solutions that meet customer needs and drive growth.
Develop and lead a comprehensive CSR strategy, building a culture of CSR, using it as a competitive advantage, and staying ahead of emerging trends to drive positive impact.
Improve records and archival management systems by sharing expertise, interpreting best practices, and developing sound policies and procedures.
Manage complex external stakeholder relationships and regulatory environments, formulate communication plans, manage public image and reputation, and handle crisis communication.
Design and implement an integrated enterprise risk management framework, managing risk identification, assessment, and treatment at the Unit level.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or a related field
At least 6 years of cognate experience
Additional academic qualifications are an added advantage.
Relevant professional qualification required (e.g. CIBN, CIPM, PMP).
