Job Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our finance team.
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, supporting tax audits, and driving tax planning strategies in a dynamic Oil & Gas environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns (CIT, WHT, VAT, etc.) in line with local and international tax laws.
• Manage end-to-end tax provision and compliance processes.
• Handle tax audits and resolve issues with regulatory bodies.
• Advise on tax implications related to operational activities and investments.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws relevant to the oil & gas industry.
• Collaborate with finance and legal teams on transfer pricing and tax strategies.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of tax accounts and reporting according to IFRS.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or CITN) is required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in tax accounting, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of upstream and downstream oil & gas tax regulations.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills, communication abilities, and stakeholder management.
