Talent Acquisition Specialist (Mining) at African Industries Group (AIG)

Responsibilities

• Devise and implement strategic recruitment plans tailored to the needs of our organization.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
• Enhancing employer brand to attract industry-leading professionals.
• Building relationships with candidates, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Championing diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Utilizing data analysis to drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes.
• Draft and send out offer letters to selected candidates promptly and accurately.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive on boarding process for new employees.
• Ensure new hires are well-integrated into the company, providing them with necessary resources, information, and support.
• Conduct manpower planning to assess current and future staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably fromthe mining or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and industry trends.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
