Supervisor - Supermarket at Artee Group

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute customer service management activities and day-to-day doings of the location CSA. Responsible for overseeing the operations of the dry grocery section, ensuring efficient stock management, and providing excellent customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the daily operations of the dry grocery section, including shelf stocking, inventory management, and product presentation.
• Ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts through effective inventory control.
• Lead and motivate a team of dry grocery staff.
• Provide training and guidance to ensure staff members are knowledgeable about products and customer service expectations.
• Implement inventory control measures to manage stock levels efficiently.
• Conduct regular stock checks, and collaborate with the inventory management team to maintain accuracy.
• Work closely with the merchandising team to create visually appealing displays and promotions.
• Ensure accurate pricing, proper signage, and overall visual cohesion within the dry grocery section.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns related to the dry grocery section.
• Foster a customer-centric environment and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Daily floor walk through the department with the manager
• Trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover. Ensure Hygiene & housekeeping
• Develop process improvements to maximize sales and profitability.
• Team briefing, promo information sharing, new products details sharing
• Completes inventory management processes, spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Build and sustain a high-performance team and minimizes turnover
• Follows/complies with all applicable health/sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.
