    Supermarket Inventory Manager

    Salary: ₦150,000 Monthly

    Job Summary

    The Supermarket Inventory Manager will be responsible for overseeing and controlling stock levels to ensure product availability, minimize losses, and support smooth supermarket operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective coordination with suppliers and store teams, and accurate record-keeping.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor and manage daily inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
    • Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
    • Ensure proper documentation of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
    • Track product expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired or near-expiry items.
    • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for timely replenishment of stock.
    • Implement inventory control procedures to reduce shrinkage, damages, and losses.
    • Prepare periodic inventory reports and submit to management.
    • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of goods in the store and warehouse.
    • Support audits and investigations related to stock discrepancies.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • HND/BSc in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
    • 2–4 years of relevant experience in inventory or store management, preferably in a supermarket or retail environment.
    • Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and stock control systems.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
    • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
