    Strategic Business Development Manager (m/f/d) in Abuja with business trips within Africa.

    • As a Strategic Business Development Manager, you identify long-term growth opportunities through targeted partnerships, market analysis and strategic initiatives to sustainably strengthen the competitive position of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc.

    What tasks do you have?

    • Project management for strategic business development of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc
    • Recognize, understand and analyze new markets, customer segments, opportunities and potential
    • Preparation and implementation of market entry strategies, taking market analyses into account
    • Leading negotiations and transactions for new deals, mergers and acquisitions
    • Ensuring that legal and regulatory aspects are taken into account in negotiations through close coordination with departments and business partners
    • Assessment of enterprise development opportunities through due diligence, financial analysis and monitoring of strategic initiatives
    • Establishing sales networks and expanding business customers
    • Systematic competition monitoring to develop and adapt long-term business strategies
    • Evaluation of economic efficiency calculations and quality analyses
    • Planning and creation of business processes and optimization suggestions as well as their project-based implementation
    • Risk management and management, linked to reporting of the risk factors
    • Creation of evaluations and presentations and their communication to management
    • Participation in industry and networking events to promote business development and identify market niches

    Job requirements

    What do you bring with you?

    • Master's degree in business, management & administration or in the field of industrial engineering
    • 12 years of professional experience in a similar position and proven success in building long-term customer relationships and developing business areas
    • Experience with international teams and markets
    • Strategic and analytical skills (financial and business analytics)
    • Knowledge of due diligence and risk assessment
    • Change management competence
    • Problem-solving ability
    • Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks
    • Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills
    • Advanced project management experience
    • Assertiveness and negotiating skills
    • Customer-oriented work, authentic appearance paired with willingness to travel
    • German as a native language, English very good spoken and written (C1)
    • Networking capability and stakeholder management
    • Familiarity with the legal and regulatory frameworks in different jurisdictions
