Stationary Concrete Pump Operator at Prestigious Homes Limited

Description

• We are seeking experienced, disciplined, and technically sound professionals to join our construction and operations team. Preference will be given to candidates with strong experience in property development and large-scale construction projects, particularly those who have worked with reputable firms such as ITB Nigeria Limited, Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, Cappa & D’Alberto Plc, Vita Construction Limited, CCECC, or similar organizations.

Responsibilities

• Operate stationary concrete pumps for concrete placement on construction sites
• Set up, prime, and monitor pumping equipment before and during concrete pours
• Coordinate with batching plant operators and site teams to ensure smooth concrete flow
• Monitor pressure and flow rates to prevent blockages or equipment failure
• Carry out routine inspection, cleaning, and basic maintenance of pump lines and accessories
• Identify and report mechanical faults or safety issues immediately
• Ensure safe operation of equipment in compliance with site safety standards
• Maintain pumping logs and operational records
• Support timely and efficient concrete placement in line with project schedules.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE / OND or Trade Test certification
• Valid concrete pump operator certification or relevant training
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years experience operating stationary concrete pumps in construction projects
• Strong knowledge of concrete pumping techniques and safety procedures
• Experience working with batching plants and site engineers
• Ability to work under pressure during major concrete pours
• Prior experience with reputable construction firms is a strong advantage.
