Station Accountant at Culminate Consulting

Our client a leading Radio Station with branches in Lagos, South West, South South, Abuja and Northern Nigeria has Vacancies for following positions 
Location: UYO

Main Responsibilities

• Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
• Examining expenses submitted by employees
• Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
• Creating company financial reports with the above information included
• Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
• Analyzing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue
• Examining the proficiency of the software programs used to organize data
• Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow

Job Requirement

• B.Sc. in Accounting degree or equivalent. Membership of relevant professional bodies such as ICAN, ACCA is mandatory.
• Must possess knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles
• Accounting experience in any Media Organization is an added advantage. 
• Must possess knowledge and experience of accounting computer applications
• Knowledge of SAGE Accounting software is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice.
