    Job Responsibilities of a Sous Chef

    1. Assisting the Head Chef
      • Support the head chef in planning and preparing menus.
      • Take charge of the kitchen in the head chef's absence.
    2. Food Preparation and Presentation
      • Oversee food preparation to ensure high-quality standards.
      • Maintain consistency in presentation and taste.
    3. Team Supervision and Training
      • Supervise kitchen staff, delegating tasks and ensuring efficiency.
      • Train new kitchen staff and assist in their professional development.
    4. Inventory and Stock Management
      • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
      • Minimize waste and manage resources effectively.
