Sonographer / Radiographer at St. Ives Specialist Hospital

• We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Sonographer/Radiographer to join our healthcare team in Abeokuta. This role requires a skilled professional with strong technical expertise, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibiites

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound and X-ray examinations.
• Conduct abdominal, obstetrical, gynaecological, vascular, and other specialized scans as required.
• Ensure high-quality imaging by selecting appropriate equipment settings and adjusting for optimal diagnostic clarity.
• Monitor and care for patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging reports.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations, sterile procedures, and infection control protocols.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the imaging department.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Radiography, Sonography, or related field.
• Valid practicing license and relevant professional certification.
• Proven experience in diagnostic imaging.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and infection control practices.
• Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach.
