    Soft Services Supervisor (Asaba)

    Role Profile

    The Soft Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and quality of soft services within a facility, including cleaning, gardening, security, and landscaping. They ensure service delivery meets client expectations and operational standards. This role involves managing personnel, monitoring service quality, maintaining inventory of cleaning consumables, and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all users of the facility.

    Responsibilities

    Operational Management

    • Oversee the daily operations of soft services, including cleaning, gardening, security, and landscaping.
    • Ensure all soft services are delivered in compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and client requirements.
    • Coordinate schedules, shifts, and duties for janitors, gardeners, and security personnel.
    • Conduct regular inspections to monitor service quality, safety, and adherence to standards.

    Personnel Management

    • Manage and supervise a team of janitors, gardeners, and security personnel, ensuring optimal performance.
    • Provide leadership, training, and support to the team to improve service delivery and efficiency.
    • Handle staff-related issues, including performance reviews, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary.

    Inventory and Resource Management

    • Monitor and manage the stock of cleaning consumables, tools, and other resources.
    • Ensure timely procurement and replenishment of supplies to avoid shortages.
    • Maintain records of inventory usage and generate reports for the Facility Manager.

    Client and Stakeholder Engagement

    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding soft service-related issues.
    • Respond promptly to client complaints and feedback, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
    • Ensure client cleaning and maintenance needs are met efficiently and effectively.

    Compliance and Safety

    • Ensure all soft service operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Develop and implement risk management protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Train staff on safety standards, emergency procedures, and best practices.
    • Monitor security operations and ensure the safety of the facility and its occupants.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Facility Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 4 years overseeing janitors, gardeners, and security personnel, with demonstrated success in soft services management.

    Required Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Knowledge of cleaning practices, gardening techniques, and security operations.
    • Proficiency in budgeting and inventory management.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
