    Social Media Officer

    Job Description

    • The social media officer is responsible for the maintaining of our Brand presence on various social media channels by actively engaging with the targeted audience through different forms of digital contents.
    • We are looking for a driven social media officer to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and get network users.

    Job Roles and Responsibilities

    • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platforms, determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
    • Generate, edit, publish and share daily contents like text, images or videos that builds meaningful connections and encourages online community members to take actions.
    • Set up and optimize company pages within each social media platforms to increase the visibility of company's social contents.
    • Ensure all Social Media pages are up and running.
    • Monitor and respond to enquiries on the social media platforms.
    • Create innovative ideas to increase customer/client data base on the Social Media Platform
    • Manage the Social media calendar, content creation and daily uploads.
    • Increase online engagement on all platforms.
    • Identifying the target market and relevant social network.
    • Boost website's traffic.
    • Handle client's social media services.
    • Manage all online analytics and must be ready to present such analytics to the management.
    • Work with team members to ensure that content is suitable for search engine optimization (SEO).
    • Constantly ensure the Organization is well projected on all Social Media platforms.
    • Report prospects, activity, and performance and feedback to concerned departments.

    Job Requirements and Skills

    • B.Sc or HND in Communication, Marketing, Business or any other related field with at least a year cognate experience.
    • Good writing, editing(photo/video/text) consulting, presentation and communication skills.
    • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tool knowledge.
    • Adequate knowledge of graphic designs.
    • Knowledge of different online Marketing channels.
    • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
    • Passion for Social media activities.
    • Innovative and Creative abilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
    • Good Digital marketing skills
    • Organizational skill, Time management skills, Attention to detail and ability to cope with pressure
    • Excellent interpersonal relations and media engagement skills.
    • Effective Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
    • Can do attitude and willingness to learn.
