What You'll Do

As our Associate Social Media Manager, you will:

• Establish and Grow Mariblock’s Social Presence: Build a strong, recognizable social media footprint for Mariblock across platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Telegram.
• Craft and Execute Strategies: Develop and execute innovative social media strategies aligned with our vision, ensuring maximum reach, engagement, and growth.
• Content Creation: Create and curate engaging, visually appealing, and impactful posts, including text, graphics, and short videos, tailored to blockchain builders, developers, investors, and enthusiasts.
• Community Engagement: Actively monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, influencers, and stakeholders to foster a thriving online community.
• Trendspotting and Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of blockchain trends, events, and conversations to ensure Mariblock leads in industry discussions.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze performance metrics to refine content and strategies for optimal results.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with our content, design, and events teams to amplify campaigns and ensure brand consistency across channels.

Who You Are

• A blockchain enthusiast who understands the industry’s nuances, trends, and key players.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in social media management, preferably in tech, fintech, or blockchain industries.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with a knack for creating engaging, on-brand copy.
• Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or native platform analytics).
• Creative and adaptable, with a keen eye for what works on different platforms.
• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with African blockchain communities and challenges.
