Social Media Manager at Veriness

Veriness is building Africa’s trusted verification platform, helping individuals and businesses verify projects, properties, businesses, and investment opportunities before making important decisions.

We are looking for a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to grow our online presence, build an engaged community, and establish Veriness as a trusted technology brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Plan and manage a monthly content calendar.
• Create engaging posts, reels, carousels, and short-form videos.
• Write compelling captions and brand-focused copy.
• Monitor trends and recommend content opportunities.
• Respond to comments and messages professionally.
• Grow followers and increase engagement organically.
• Track performance using analytics and prepare monthly reports.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and the marketing team on campaigns.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing social media for a business or brand.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current trends.
• Experience using Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
• Knowledge of Meta Business Suite and social media analytics.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience with startups or technology companies is an advantage.
