Social Media & Content Executive at Afrilight Technologies Ltd

A fast-growing technology company providing enterprise and government-focused software solutions is seeking a Social Media & Content Executive to support the Marketing Manager in managing digital content, social media presence, brand communications, and creative assets.

This role requires a creative individual who can design, write, and publish high-quality content across social platforms, and collaborate with internal teams to support campaigns and product visibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s social media pages (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook).
• Create graphics, carousels, short videos, and marketing creatives.
• Write captions, micro-content, and social media copy.
• Schedule and publish posts consistently across platforms.
• Track and report analytics weekly.
• Support marketing campaigns, paid ads, and product promotions.
• Assist with website content updates and email marketing.
• Collaborate with sales & product teams to create marketing materials.
• Respond to comments, DMs, and online community engagement.

Requirements

• 1–3 years’ experience in social media management or digital content creation.
• Strong design skills using Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of video editing for reels and short clips.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Understanding of digital trends and analytics.
• Ability to work fast in a tech-focused environment.
• Experience with ads (Meta Ads / LinkedIn Ads) is an added advantage.
