Identify and implement the Renmoney strategic initiatives, with special emphasis on the business strategies that achieve growth of customer base, increase awareness for Renmoney products and services, and provide unmet needs regarding financial wellness in the geographical location that we serve
Identify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue goals. In this role, your duties will include meeting with clients to set up the loan application process, gathering required financial documentation, and approving or denying loan requests based on your financial calculations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to a team of SME lending sales representatives.
Set clear performance expectations and goals for the team and monitor individual and team performance regularly
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust the sales approach and maintain a competitive edge
Drive the sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, client meetings, loan structuring, and deal closing
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and industry influencers.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including credit risk, operations, and product teams, to ensure seamless loan origination and servicing processes
Resolve customer issues and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Monitor sales team performance against targets, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and other performance metrics
Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting team achievements, challenges, and opportunities
Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and market developments to mitigate potential risks
Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure adherence to lending policies and procedures
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. An advanced degree would be a plus
Proven experience (7+ years) in sales management, preferably in SME lending or commercial banking.
Strong knowledge of SME lending products, services, and industry trends
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully driving sales performance and achieving targets
Strong relationship-building and networking abilities
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Sound understanding of credit risk assessment, underwriting, and loan structuring
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the lending industry
