Role Description

• This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Java Software Engineer based in Lagos, with the flexibility to work remotely on certain days.
• The Senior Java Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions.
• Day-to-day tasks include developing Java applications, designing and implementing microservices, utilizing the Spring Framework, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet technical and business objectives.
• The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong emphasis on innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Software Development, including experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions
• Strong understanding of Programming in Java with proficiency in developing high-quality applications
• Experience working with Microservices architecture and the ability to build and maintain distributed systems
• Proficiency in the Spring Framework for creating enterprise-level applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Understanding of clean coding principles, version control systems (e.g., Git), and DevOps practices is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
