Small & Medium Scale Enterprise (SME) Officer - Imo at Polaris Bank Limited

Job Purpose

Drive business growth within the SME segment through customer acquisition, relationship management, credit origination, portfolio management, and the delivery of tailored banking solutions, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire and onboard SME customers to grow the business portfolio.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, identifyingopportunities for cross-selling and enhanced customer value.
• Assess customer financing needs, prepare credit proposals, and monitor loanportfolio performance.
• Drive growth in loans, deposits, and non-interest revenue in line with assigned targets.
• Ensure compliance with credit, operational, KYC/AML, and regulatoryrequirements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities within the SME sector.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver efficient customer service and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2-5 years' experience in SME, Commercial, or Business Banking, Sales, or
• Relationship Management.
• Experience in customer acquisition, credit analysis, and portfolio management.
