The Shutdown (SD) Co-Ordinator is primarily responsible for the preparation, coordination and execution of the SD to be executed OFFSHORE, complying with the client’s SD process, delivering the onshore Coordination and leadership of all activities (Mechanical, Piping, E&I, etc..) leading up to the SD, such as the development of the SD work lists and Plan, tracking related actions, double check the preparation and organisations of the various subcontractors, and maintaining effective communications with the Asset onshore and Offshore teams.
The Shutdown Coordinator will report directly to the Asset Shutdown Lead.
Main duties
Onshore/offshore support of a strategic Shutdown plan to assure the Asset production promise delivery
Management of planning and preparation activities required for successful execution of platform Shutdown
Accountable for establishing shutdown execution team, including defining and communicating key roles and responsibilities
Accountable for setting accurate shutdown budget in conjunction with Shutdown Lead
Requirements
Preferably Degree qualified in an engineering discipline or significant experience in a similar role
Predominantly able to perform Superintendent / OIM role
Excellent communication skills
Good working level in english
Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook and Power point
Strong understanding of Offshore Process and Operation
Competent in use of Maximo Maintenance Management System
Extensive, Design Engineering and Operations experience within the oil and gas industry
Strong safety awareness
