Settlement and Reconciliation Officer at Fort Knox Group

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process daily settlement of transactions with banks, payment processors, and third-party partners.
• Ensure timely posting of settled transactions into the accounting system.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, unmatched items, and variances.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and escalate unresolved discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist internal and external auditors with required documentation.
• Recommend and support automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and contribute to continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in settlement, reconciliation, finance operations, or banking.
• Strong understanding of payment systems, bank reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience with accounting or core banking systems is an advantage.
